Climate finance has increasingly taken center stage in debates about the future of climate action. For low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) to reduce emissions, significant financial support is needed to transition to low-carbon economies and adapt to the impacts of climate change. Until now, there has been limited evidence on the role that mobile and digital technology can play in climate finance delivery.

A lively discussion amongst colleagues with a common interest in exploring the potential of climate finance, and carbon markets in particular, as an opportunity for pushing forward on gender equality and women’s empowerment.
